Client Liaison Officer
THE PROJECT
LiveUp is an innovative, digital-first (but not digital only) healthy ageing guide, run by iLA and funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care to provide older Australians with information, resources and advice on health and wellbeing, assistive technology and community connections.
LiveUp is promoted nationally via a range of online and offline media. But we know that older Australians will be more receptive to resources that their GP, health professional or service provider recommends. This is where you come in!
THE ROLE
A team of community engagement professionals across different states and territories work collaboratively with the National Community Engagement Lead and the LiveUp Project Team to drive awareness, uptake and ongoing use of the LiveUp website and our navigation service through grass roots community engagement activities across Australia.
The role will involve developing and managing professional relationships with stakeholders and community partners, attending community events and activities, and gathering local content to support development of the LiveUp website activities directory.
To maximise our reach, this role will largely involve working remotely (from your home), via Teams primarily. However, community engagement will also involve:
- Representing ILA at conferences, seminars, expos, and other forums
- Facilitating presentations and workshops online and face to face
- Collaborating with other organisations to promote LiveUp and healthy ageing
- Identifying opportunities for partnerships with local organisations and stakeholders
- Working with the team to identify strategies to increase uptake of LiveUp’s suite of solutions
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records in relation to all engagement activities in CRM platform
- Contributing to the e-newsletters and other marketing tools

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Passion and interest in delivering health initiatives to older Australians
- Community related qualifications such as health promotion, community development, social work, or similar
- Community and stakeholder engagement experience
