Navigator

THE ROLE 

Are you passionate about supporting people to live the life they choose? Do you enjoy connecting with older people and their families to help them achieve their independence goals? We’re looking for a Navigator to support our LiveUp program. LiveUp is a digital platform designed to provide impartial information and advice about ageing well, assistive technology (AT) and local services to support older Australians. Improve and maintain their level of independence and enhance their decision-making, confidence and capability in their ageing well journey by: 

  • Engaging with customers through an online portal, phone and email. 
  • Building the awareness of accessible, practical and relevant information resources including AT. 
  • Connecting people to access information, supports and services relevant to their needs. 
  • Supporting people in navigating the digital suite of solutions
  • Providing guidance to people to evaluate information to make informed decisions. 
  • Working with people to develop their confidence, capability, and motivation to act upon the information and apply it to their individual circumstances. 

Reporting to the Customer Experience Lead and working closely with iLA Teams, this will be a pivotal role and an integral part of the team.

 

THE CANDIDATE  

The successful candidate will bring energy and passion to working with older people in Australia. They will:

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and sound understanding of customer relationship management.
  • Good written communication skills and excellent phone manner.
  • Sound computing skills (including Microsoft office suite, Outlook, Teams).
  • Confidence in navigating online platforms.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

This role would suit someone with a background in providing advice, support and guidance with an understanding of the needs of older people in Australia.

Experience within health and aged care desirable, but not essential.
